  • What size bed and mattress should I choose?
Single : 90×200 cm (or 120×200 for more space).

  • Double bed : 160×200 or 180×200 cm. Taller people will appreciate the length of 210/220 cm. For couples, two separate mattresses (each with its own hardness) on a common frame of 160/180×200 cm are comfortable.

  • How to choose the hardness of a mattress based on weight and sleeping position?
As a guide: up to 60 kg softer H2, 60–90 kg medium H3, over 90 kg firmer H4/H5. A softer to medium mattress is more comfortable on the side (relaxes the shoulder and hip), medium on the back, and firmer on the stomach for stability. If you have different preferences, choose two mattresses for a double bed.

  • Boxspring bed or classic frame + mattress?
Boxspring (spring base + mattress) offers a higher lying surface, excellent ventilation and hotel comfort; ideal with a topper. The classic bed is variable - you can combine the frame (solid wood/upholstery) with the slatted/slatted base and mattress (foam/pockets/latex) exactly according to your needs.

  • Which slatted base is suitable for which mattress?
Foam and latex mattresses: slatted base (easily adjustable). Pocket/spring mattresses: solid slatted base or high-quality slatted base with smaller gaps (up to approx. 4–5 cm). Avoid gaps that are too large to prevent the core from deforming.

  • What is the ideal height of the mattress and sleeping surface?
A mattress of 18–25 cm is a universal standard; higher models (25+ cm) will add comfort and load-bearing capacity. A lying surface of 50–55 cm will make it easier to get up (appreciated by seniors), generally 45–60 cm depending on the user's height and bed type (boxsprings tend to be higher).

  • What do you recommend for allergy sufferers and for easy maintenance?
Choose mattresses with washable removable covers (ideally washable at 60°C) and anti-allergic fillings (foam/hollow fiber). A mattress protector will help against stains and moisture. Ventilate and rotate mattresses regularly according to the manufacturer's instructions.
